What Aghwar Dates supplies

— Commercial pathways

Three ways serious buyers work with us

Every programme starts from the same fruit and the same grading discipline. What changes is the format, the labelling and the documentation your market requires.

Export cartons on a pallet, neutral warehouse light

01

Bulk Supply

Importers · Wholesalers · Repackers · Manufacturers

Volume supply in export cartons for buyers who repack, process or distribute under their own arrangements. Grading is agreed before production so what arrives matches what was quoted.

  • Container and part-container volumes
  • Standard export carton configurations
  • Incoterms and destination agreed per shipment
Discuss a bulk programme
Retail pack on neutral ground, no brand marks

02

Retail-Ready Packaging

Distributors · Retail chains · Buying groups

Consumer-facing formats prepared for listing, with the unit weights, carton counts and label languages your category buyer will ask for during a range review.

  • Unit formats prepared for shelf
  • Label languages for the destination market
  • Presentation suited to premium listings
Discuss retail formats
Unbranded private-label mockup — no printed claims

03

Private Label

Retail brands · Private-label buyers · Food manufacturers

Supply under your brand, with artwork review, market-specific labelling and a sample approval step before production. The commercial review happens before artwork is finalised, not after.

  • Artwork review and revision history
  • Market labelling and compliance documents
  • Sample approval before production

— Product and grades

The Specification Your Quotation Is Based On

Most suppliers in this category publish no specification at all. We publish the full framework a quotation is priced against — and we mark every value that has not been verified yet.

Final grade specifications, pack configuration, MOQ, and lead time are confirmed in the commercial quotation. We publish a figure only once it has been measured and signed off — a number a delivered shipment does not match is a claim, not a specification.

One origin. Consistent grading. Documentation that clears customs.

Procurement teams do not need another brand story. They need to know what arrives, in what condition, in what packaging, with what paperwork — and whether the same answer holds next season.

01Specification before persuasion
The grade framework, packaging configuration and documentation set are published before anyone is asked to enquire.
02Packaging built for your market
Bulk, retail-ready and private label run through the same grading discipline, so switching format does not mean switching supplier.
03Documentation treated as product
Certificates, specifications and compliance documents are managed as deliverables with owners and dates, not assembled on request.
04Answers that hold next season
A supplier is judged on the second shipment. Grading discipline and traceability exist so the second one matches the first.

— From origin to shipment

The journey that produces a consistent pallet

Consistency is not a claim about intention — it is the result of controlling each handover. These are the stages a Medjool programme passes through before it reaches your warehouse.

Grading line detail — hands handling fruit, no identifiable uniforms
Conceptual visual — not documentary photography of Aghwar Dates operations.

Operational photography is commissioned under a controlled facility shoot. Until then this frame is marked, not staged as evidence.

  1. Origin

Medjool grown in Palestine, where the climate and elevation shape the fruit's texture and sugar development.

  2. Harvest

Fruit is picked in stages as it reaches maturity rather than stripped in a single pass.

  3. Inspection

Incoming fruit is assessed for maturity, damage and foreign matter before it enters the line.

  4. Grading

Fruit is separated by calibre and condition. This is the step your specification is written against.

  5. Packing

Product is packed to the agreed configuration — bulk carton, retail unit or private-label format.

  6. Cold storage

Finished pallets are held under controlled conditions to protect texture and shelf life.

  7. Documentation

Specifications, certificates and shipping documents are prepared against the destination market's requirements.

  8. Shipment

Loading is coordinated with your freight arrangements, with documentation released to agreed terms.

— Quality and documentation

Documentation for commercial review

Across the competitor sites we reviewed, certifications are almost never named. These are the documentation categories our export desk prepares for supplier qualification — issued and verified against your programme at quotation stage.

A certificate appears here only when

  • the certificate document itself is on file
  • a compliance reviewer has verified it against the issuing body
  • its scope and validity dates are recorded

Available for commercial review

  • BRCGS Food SafetyManufacturing and packing standard
  • IFS FoodRetailer-recognised food safety standard

  • GLOBALG.A.P.Good agricultural practice at farm level
  • Organic certificationCultivation and handling, per destination scheme

  • KosherProcessing and handling certification

Nothing on this list is claimed as held today. Tell the export desk which scheme your programme requires and it will be confirmed in writing before any commitment is made.

— Packaging and private label

Packaging is a commercial capability, not a photograph

The format decides your landed cost, your shelf presentation and your labelling obligations. These are the configurations a quotation is built around.

Mockups are neutral by design: no brand marks, no certification logos and no printed claims.

— Export markets

What each market actually asks for

Requirements differ far more than the product does. Choosing a market here changes the considerations shown and the route your enquiry takes.

Select a market

United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium and wider Europe

European buyers typically run a supplier-qualification step before the first order. Expect questions about food-safety certification, traceability and labelling compliance before price is discussed.

Labelling
Ingredient, allergen and origin declarations per destination requirements.
Documentation
Specification sheet, certificate set and traceability record requested at qualification.
Packaging
Retail-ready formats reviewed against category listing requirements.

Mainland China — importers, premium retail and corporate gifting

The Chinese market judges presentation and cold-chain assurance alongside the fruit itself. Packaging and gifting formats carry more weight in the buying decision than they do in Europe.

Labelling
Chinese-language labelling prepared for the destination requirement.
Documentation
Certificate and inspection documentation prepared for the import route.
Packaging
Presentation and gifting formats reviewed alongside retail units.
Logistics

Gulf, North America, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Nordic markets

Enquiries from other markets are welcome. Where we have not shipped to a destination before, the export desk will say so plainly and confirm what is required before any commitment.

Planning Your Next Medjool Programme?

One message with your market, format and indicative volume is enough for the export desk to come back with something useful.

  1. 01

Your enquiry reaches the export desk directly, with the details you supplied.

  2. 02

We confirm what is verified today and what still needs to be established.

  3. 03

You receive a written response covering specification, format and next steps.

A structured five-step request form with reference tracking is being introduced. Until it is live, the routes above reach the same export team — we would rather send you to a person than to a form that does not yet work.

Business enquiries only. Aghwar Dates supplies trade buyers and does not sell to consumers.
